Synopsis

The story of Siegfried Sassoon, an English writer and poet. Decorated for bravery on the Western Front during WWI, he returned home advocating against war through his poetry.

Starring academy award and bafta winner PETER CAPALDI (the personal history of david copperfield, christopher robin, doctor who, paddington 1 and 2) and bafta nominee JACK LOWDEN (mary queen of scots, dunkirk).

Written and directed by bafta nominee TERENCE DAVIES (a quiet passion, the house of mirth, the deep blue sea).
