Synopsis

Modern remake of the hilarious 1970s television movie hit, The Knowledge, surrounding a small group of Londoners preparing for one of the most challenging exams on Earth – learning over fifty thousand streets and addresses of the British capital by heart – in order to become a London taxi driver. 

Based on both the 1979 television film written by Jack Rosenthal, directed by Bob Brooks and starring Maureen Lipman as well as the 2017 stage play adapted by Simon Block and directed by Maureen Lipman.

Written by bafta award nominee SIMON BLOCK (the physician, home fires).
